Viv was exceptional!
There’s always a lot to plan for your wedding day and as we had done a lot of the planning ourselves, we needed someone we could place our trust in to perform our ceremony without adding any additional stress; so that we could relax in the moment and enjoy it (of course!). Our special day was also held abroad which required an extra level of commitment. Viv provided all of the support we needed and more.
We spoke to Viv on a number of occasions leading up to our wedding day, where we discussed the ‘order of the day’ and other formalities – thinking this was all that needed to be discussed! Where Viv delighted us especially was by using her experience to guide us through the plan for the ceremony but also by bringing in her insights and experience to make our ceremony more personal. These details made our ceremony feel tailor-made – exactly what we’d dreamt of! There were one or two ideas she proposed that we now look back on and think that these suggestions really made it memorable for us.
We really felt Viv’s care and attention to detail throughout the build-up and the ceremony itself. She had prepared a very beautiful reading that was personal to us, including some of the stories about our experiences together we had shared with her previously – her delivery was excellent, timing exceptional and was also very gentle in steering us through when we perhaps felt a bit overwhelmed by the occasion.
We could not have asked for a more professional experience from the moment we first met Viv to the big day itself - it felt as if we had found a new friend. We would highly recommend inviting Viv to perform your ceremony – the best celebrant any couple could ask for!
